 my fixie, almost done, just need a back wheel with a flip flop hub and take the smaller sprocket off

went back and rewelded the whole seam and up the side of the cut on the shock tower.

  welded in the side of one tub, still need to do the other, then will finish grinding down the welds and seam sealer and filler and sand

made some progress

so I haven't updated in a while. ive mostly been working on tubs and wiring. but because Im still in the search for a welder I haven't started putting the tubs together yet, just cutting stuff. wiring in the cabin is a pain, trunk is done

ever since I saw this car featured on speedhunters and on shirtstuckedin.com ive been a big fan.  In this video its not being driven by john (owner at time of 1st feature) so im not sure if it was sold or something like that, but I LOVE the way it is driven in this video and the way it looks with the longchamps

and some updates on my car, pulled out my whole rear end, and am about in the middle of swapping it over to my new (actually older but much nicer) subframe which I will be painting hopefully tomorrow

ive had my eye out for coilovers, when i find a good set, ill get them.  then adjustable upper control arms in the back, I think, and my suspension will be pretty much where I want it.  Its all stock right now but with cut springs

I also have my q45 front calipers still from my s13 that I parted out.  Im going to compare them to the sc300 oem fronts and use whichever are larger, assuming I can get the brackets to work out.
Im also going to be doing an abs delete in the next couple days and will be running a hydraulic handbrake

thats pretty much it for now, I think.  ive been working on the bbs rebuild, slowly but surely its coming along
also bought a set of staggered A-dish of craigslist last week.  I went to max out the rear camber to run them and then i realized my other lca bolt was frozen, which initiated my whole subframe swap process

im a huge lowrider/oldschool fan, so I thought id share some random photos that I really like

lexus and other

so heres what has been going on.  swapped in the new pass side rear end.suspension stuff.  realized that an sc400 has a different rotor size and caliper bracket size.  swapped the old caliper bracket on.  went to the picknpull and got a new front fender and rotor.  now everything is back together but i forgot to put the little clips in the brake pads, so i will put those in.  other than that, it sounds like my brake shoes might be making some type of noise, need to make sure i installed them right.  everything else is good all around.

doing some work on the dent on my hood.  its almost good to go.  also started sanding my hood down and an going to fill/shave the windshield wiper squirters soon too.

recent stuff with my lexus

so i pretty much gave up on my nissan.  i have parted everything out except a few more parts which are still for sale.
im focusing on the lexus right now.  i crashed it about a week ago drifting in that parking lot we always go to.  slid into a curb.  hood, right fender, rear: disc brake, 3 control arms, 1 traction arm, axle, wheel, i forget what else.  anyways, pulled everything from the car.  still working on cutting out a frozen lca bolt.  i went to a guys parking lot down in milpitas and got a new subframe with all the pass side parts i need.  took them off as one whole.  im am ready to swap them in and will do so as soon as i get the bolt out.  i am swapping old ebrake cable to new setup.  I am also going to try to find a couple of more matching mustang wheels.  then i need a fender and i should be back on the road.

thats whats going on for now.  once i get the fender and repair the hood i am going to try to get a vertex style kit and paint the whole car.  Around the same time i will be looking to get coilovers, build my wheels, and work the fenders accordingly
